Favorite Love Scene:

I am a hopeless romantic, and nothing changes when it comes to Disney movies.

-Everyone remembers the spaghetti scene in "The Lady and the Tramp".

-The dancing scene in "The Beauty and the Beast". Lovely.

-oh... I might as well throw in the lantern scene from "Tangled". ;) Of course!!!

..but I must choose one. (Boy, I will be so happy to be over!) I must say that I am a sucker for "the Rescuers Down Under". Miss Bianca and Bernard are adorable. :)

Today is all about the bad guys. The real bad guys. And right now I'm not talking about some creepy old man like Jafar, or the gentle yet rather intimidating alien- Megamind. Favorite Hero

Tarzan is one of my favorites. To quote my mother, he is "the unassuming, yet transparent hero, saving Jane from the 'pretence' of civilized living. (He reminds me of your daddy.)". The attachment he developes toward those he loves, and the strength and wit he has that outsmarts the bad guys. Yes, all those things I love.

Buzz Lightyear, Simba, and John Smith all rank prety high up there too. But the one that tops them all off for me is (and I quote my sister) "a strange boy" who rides a magic carpet, talks to a genie, and has a pet monkey.

I love Aladdin.

I would like to say something to my darling of a sister who has begun a journey, like me, traveling through the world of Disney. So the following is for Neva-'Dele. :)

I was caught a little off guard when I read your blog and found out that you were stealing my idea. Yes, I said it: STEALING. This challenge was set up for me (ME) and I don't take a fancy to you beating me through it all. And I say that you won't. I didn't say can't, just won't. Because I am going to step up to the plate and beat YOU. Uh-huh. I am going to make it through this ahead of you. It is completely fair because you've already made it to the point where I stopped. Girl... this is your challenge. No more skipping days. No more "doubling up" days. If you do happen to skip a day, you can't "double up" the next day. Got it? And you can't pick more than one character. It is called a challenge for a reason. :)

If you do happen to finish before me, it will only reestablish a fact everyone is already aware of; you are a better blogger than I am. Oh yeah... and I will buy you a big ole' package of "SPK's". If we finish on the same day, than we'll call it a tie and pick a new challenge. If I win-well than I get to see a movie of my choice in theaters... your treat. Deal? :)

Favorite Prince

Every girl dreams of finding their own dear Prince Charming. [Or at least, I do.] It seems as if every Disney movie I watch contains some dashing young man who sweeps the damsel off her feet. In many of the stories, it is the young lady who marries into a royal family, thus making her a Princess. It's not very usual to find a story where the opposite is the case. But I did. His name is Flynn.... er-Eugene. Whatever you think makes you happy. :)

He's a thief and a scoundrel in the eyes of the law.

He's tall, handsome, and very much a ladies' man.

He's cocky and determined, and has dreams soaring high with riches and anything else he desires.

But then... he meets a woman.

A young, ambitious, and pretty nice looking girl named Rapunzel, who only wants to see the floating lights just once.

He finds himself locked into this rebellious adventure in spite of himself, and this girl helps him realize what is really important.

(And... did I mention that I think he is very good lookin'? okay. Just wanted to make sure I got that across.) ;)

Favorite Heroine

Definition of heroine: a woman admired and emulated for her achievements and qualities.

My favorite Disney heroine? Well... there are many characters in Disney films that, for me, fill the part quite nicely. There is, for instance, Fa Mulan. The young woman who dares to slip into boy's garb and fight for her family. Or there is also Pocahontas, who stands for her beliefs and defends the man she loves. I'm sure you would agree that either of these ladies would fit the bill perfectly. But today I've chosen a rather different kind of heroine. She's not what you would usually see under that title. Her talents are underestimated, but effective. Her job includes gently tucking little ones in bed, she lovingly shares stories of pixy dust and pirates, and (most importantly) she cherishes her childhood.

This is Wendy Darling.

She just so happens to be one of my favorites {do I say that too much?}.

She's curious and honest, with a love for adventure. Her innocent adoration for Peter is so sweet, as is her little blue nightdress and ribbon in her hair. :)

When in Neverland, she cares for several little lost boys, along with her two young brothers. They lovingly dub her "Mother" as she lulls them to sleep with her stories. Wendy is on the verge of growing up, and yet lingers to avoid it.

Usually polite and gentle, she shows strength and bravery when threatened. She dreams and fantasizes, and isn't ashamed to play along as the pirate or Indian.

"You can't stick it on with soap, Peter. It needs sewing. That's the proper way to do it. Although, come to think of it, I've never thought of it before... um... sewing shadows, I mean."

Oh! And her name is Wendy Darling. I may be odd, yes. But that is the most precious name ever. :)

Favorite Princess

There are all kinds of princesses. We've seen princesses who live in the sea. We know princesses who have been cursed to sleep until kissed by their Prince. There are princesses who were lost at birth and somehow, are miraculously reunited with their family. There are those who dance at great balls, and care for their many animal friends. We know many types of princesses!

But my favorites rethe ones that become a princess. They are brought into the royal family by marrying their Prince Charming. They were not born into a rich or fine family, but lived on little and learned to love many. They dream of far-off places and sing of finding true love.

...And this one did. :)

I believe Belle has been my most beloved Disney princess for as long as I can remember. Her story makes me wish I could be a fairy tale character too.

Belle lives in a "poor, provincial town" full of people who admire her beauty, and tease her odd ways. She lives alone with her father, of whom she respects and encourages for his, though a bit strange, creative endeavors. Her love of books leads her to be dreamy and long for a life of adventure.

Through some horrible situation, Belle finds herself locked into a lifetime with a monster, hideous and frightening to behold. At once, the Beast is touched by her affection toward her father. He finds himself attracted to her beauty and bravery. She's bold, and tries her best to protect those she loves!

As the story progresses, we find that this Beast was not always a horrible creature, but that he was cursed for as long as it takes him to learn to love. As the household strives to lead them to each other, she wins the hearts of the others living there with her care, and curious ways.

Over all, this story makes me cry. :')

I love the fact that she overcomes her fear, and befriends the one many despise.

Her tenderness toward him, and the patience with which she bestows it is the main reason Belle, otherwise known as "Beauty", is my favorite princess.

Favorite Character

I was lost when I saw what the first challenge was. There is no way I could simply pick one main Disney character. That's almost like trying to find out which one of my siblings I love more than the others.

uh...I don't do that. :) So I've gone through many of them, and decided I would pick 5 characters that you don't see mentioned all the time to post about. Like characters who are seen throughout movies , and add a little smile to the mix. Here are my choices {and I don't want any bad-mouthing them, ya here?}

Note: If I could, I would post a picture of all of them, but I thought I'd save some for the more important topics. (like my favorite princess or sidekick. Or hero.)

Flounder

I've always loved "The Little Mermaid" and all the cute little critters. For instance, the crab or the seagull. But Flounder has been a favorite forever.

He's cute. Yellow. Chubby. Cheerful. and shy.

Who doesn't love him?

Prince Naveen

The "Princess and the Frog" is one of the cutest movies. Ever. I've watched it over, and over. But one thing that I really love about it? This guy.

(okay, okay, he is kind of a main character. But I couldn't resist.)

He's cocky, handsome, mischievous, and did I say good-looking? Well, in his human form, anyway. :)

...and I love his accent. Just so you know.

Tiana may have something when she says that they are slimy and gross, but I have to say....

I would totally kiss this frog. ;)

He makes me smile. A lot.

His hard attempts to please others, his funny giggle, and the way he always seems to mess everything up. I love this chubby little mouse. :)

So... I've been told I need to pick up the pace a little. Yes, I saw your sweet little message, Neva. I realize I'm not talented like you, so I hesitate to post anything. Truly, I believe the problem is coming up with a subject to post about. How sad is that? I live in a large, exciting family, and I struggle finding something worth-while to tell about. :)

After a little chat with a friend this week, I've resolved to fix this problem. I am going to push myself. I'm giving myself a challenge. (again.) No, I will not use my sister's photos and give myself credit just to fill the space. No, I will not give my reviews on movies. I will answer one question, once a day. Sounds pretty eaasy, huh? Sister-dear, before you get too terribly mad, I'm doing this for your own good.
First, I'd like to say to those of you still reading this darling blog, thank you for making my sister happy and not deserting her just because she is horrid at keeping a good, updated blog. That is what I'm for. {You can click here, if you are looking for a well-kept blog. Updated at least once everyday. Not to mention, the author is pretty awesome.}
I know, as soon as Hannah sees this, she will most likely give me another talk. You know, the one an older sister gives her annoying lil' sister? {yes, that would be me.} Don't worry, we love each other.
Anyway, I noticed, Hannah has not made you aware that Morsel number eleven has entered this crazy household. Yes, May 2nd, we welcomed Blessing Amelia Morse into the world. She weighed 8lbs. 12oz. 21and 1/2 inches long. She has more hair than any of us had, but still, not that much. I wish I had a picture3 of her, but this computer has not been updated, in the picture world, for a long time! ;) But if you do want to see pictures of her... ...This past weekend my family and I made a sweet little trip to Gatlinburg. We were blessed to have a house provided for, and really tried to soak up every second together. It was a wonderful trip! I'll try to post photos as soon as I can, but for now here are some things that I've been thinking about lately. :)

My Daddy.

From him, I learn what it means to give your life to Christ and live faithfully. In him, I see all that a spiritual leader, loving husband, and caring father should be. With him, I enjoy every second!

On March 21st, daddy celebrated his 40th birthday! I was unable to post due to the fact that we weren't home, but I still wanted to shout out a huge

Neva and I are having so much fun being a part of CSTHEA's production of "Ruddigore". Practices are always interesting, some-what tiring (as of late), and just a blast.

We've enjoyed meeting all the cast members too! Neither of us have ever been a part of something like this, so it has been very neat to open up and act with all these people. :) We're loving it!

~Cupcakes.

In my opinion, cupcakes are amazing. They can be simple, elegant, loud and unique, or even a wearable dress! (check here).

Recently, I have discovered that I was destined to be a cupcake artist.

Okay, so maybe I wasn't. But I sure wanna be! I've researched, googled, and drooled over all those mini cakes you see adorning bakery windows, and wish I could be the one to create them. I have yet to try my hand at it.... but hopefully I can make time for it soon!

~(And last, but certainly not least!) Pink.

Ever since we found out that baby number eleven was to be a girl, we Morse girls have been going nuts. We haven't had a little girl in over 10 years!! Our Blessing Amelia is going to be adored. We have been buying cute little pink socks, precious pink and rosy blankets, pink sleepers, pink gowns, and all that other stuff. I am so excited to love on this girl.

Putting bows in her hair, dressing her in tiny smocked outfits, and taking bucket loads of pictures? Oh yes! You may bet on all that.

... alright Neva, I'll post. :) My camera hasn't been used in... {gulp} ...quite a while.... and I believe sister-dear has told just about every interesting thing happening lately in the Morsel home! But I myself got rather tired of opening the web browser only to be reminded of my absence here.

For starters, I could say that "some cute little guy" has a birthday just around the corner! I cannot believe our Rascal is turning 7!!! Remember when I posted THIS? Time has flown by way too quickly [sniff-sniff].

And next I could bring up the fact that my list of music on the blog has grown... but by now you've probably already noticed. :) I've added several new adorable songs and soundtracks! Feel free to scan through, find one you like, and get cozy.

I could also give a random list of delights I've found recently. For example, the book "Phantom of the Opera" was awesome! I loved it... plus, re-watching the 2004 version of the movie and discovering I adore it as well was nice. I catch myself singing bits and pieces of "All I ask of you" or several others throughout my day way too often!

Last week, I went to work with my daddy. Yes, just me. I had a wonderful time! It turned out that he was going to see Rock City to look at some gates he may be able to make for them, and so I got to go too! :) I was excited... but you can see that I was ill prepared. After they had taken us to look at what dad might be working on, they gave us a map and said we were happy to walk around. I had my big leather purse... and flip-flops! True, I had brought work shoes to wear at the shop, but they were left waaayyy back in the car. Oh well, I loved it anyway. :)

I do love him so! :)

That day was so much fun. After walking around Rock City, we went to lunch, and then were off to the shop. I got to use some of the power tools! :)

I love being with daddy, and am so thankful we were able to spend all day together! We had many interesting conversations, and talked of all kinds of things. :) Thank you daddy-dear!

MyMy! It feels like a lifetime since I posted a REAL post here. It's so nice to be back. :)

My day started later than I would have prefered. Ugh, don't you just hate that? Isn't it awefully annoying when your plans slip as the morning comes and your alarm goes off promptly....only to be shut off by a hasty hand? "Snooze"..... 10 minutes later...... "snooze"..... etc. until it has been a complete hour since it first went off. Actually, I think I may have just shut it off after a while. Oops! Oh well, that happens sometimes... :)

Where are my pictures for this post? .....humm... I seem to have misplaced them. Wait-no I haven't. They are sitting up on the shelf stored neatly in the memory card. I just misplaced the cord used to transfer them from the card to here, on this dear little laptop. Oops again! Sorry y'all.... I'll post them asap. Has anyone read the book "Persuasion" by Jane Austen? I recently finished it, and I must say though it isn't hardly my favorite of the books she has written, I really enjoyed it! I also kind of like the movie, but still think P&P is my favorite. :)

About the "new look".... do you like it? Is it too bold? I actually kind of love it. Refreshing, don't you think?

Aaaaaa.. A neat, simple, cheerful, and ever-so quiet house on a Spring day. There is absolutely nothing like it.

...Outside the sun is shining down on a freshly cut lawn, a neatly swept patio, and lightly enhances the blond hair belonging to a couple of the sweetest boys ever to be found. The birds are delightfully singing their hearts out in the trees. Many of the windows in the house are opened, and freshly-cleaned curtains dance gently as the wind drifts in. Beds are made, clothes are at home in drawers or on hangers in the closet as they should be, shelves are dusted and books lovingly placed in their proper positions.
In the kitchen, the sink shines and remains empty until the next meal. The long, beautiful table has been wiped of the day's crumbs, and is now adorned by one bowl of flowers thoughtfully placed by a darling sister. The benches are arranged properly, the pantry straightened, and the mantle holding our dear WillowTree peices lightly dusted to perfection. Each room smells cheerful-springlike and fresh.

The Lord's glory has been ever-present to me as I've watched this lovely day unfold... and I praise Him for his blessings.

As I sit here, all I can think is...

...today has been a beautiful day :)

Friends Forever....

The Lord has truly blessed us with such a beautiful friendship! We've grown so close to each other over the past three years and we are both so thankful that the Lord chose to bring us together.

We have shared many special memories in the short time that we have known each other and hope to share many, many more! We've promised each other to never-ever let our friendship fade and to keep close forever. We both share dreams of going through a God-honoring courtship, being in each other's weddings, calling each other for advice on how to clean up messy little boys and how to help delicate little girls, watching our children grow in and through Christ Jesus, while never ceasing to do so ourselves.

We both have many things in common now as well; we share a love for a beautiful Father/Daughter relationship, sad movies, sweet songs, adorable babies, cute pictures, cooking and baking, reading...especially if the book is written by our beloved Jane Austen. Inspired by our adoration for her lovely books, we've found ourselves putting pen to paper in a fashion after her own in lengthy letters to each other every week. Notice the emphasis on the word lengthy; when we say that, we mean 25 to 30 page letters. :)

Each of us love to share stories or traditions of our families, including smiling and "aww"ing over the way our mama's and daddy's met, fell for each other, later married and had us! :) As we dream of following in their footsteps and "falling" for that special someone ourselves, we scour every thrift store and antique shop within a 30 mile radius. :) Slowly but swiftly adding to our growing "Hope Chest" collections of dishes, picture frames, darling knick-knacks, and other memory making items to one day place in our own homes.

Recently, we've enjoyed several meetings at Panera Bread, chatting while sharing a salad and a Dr. Pepper. As a matter of fact...that's where we are now!! :)

Lovin' this beautiful weather!! :) My family and I are having a wonderful time and really enjoying the Lord's creation; taking walks, horse riding lessons, fun trips with friends.. such as the most recent outing to Lake Winnie, and a few other activities. Blogging hasn't been one of them.... but hey! Why spend my time inside on the computer when there is a glorious sun shining outside on a summer day, pretty little flowers and plants, and my silly siblings running around and laughing! :)

Hello all. And how are you? It seems like an eternity since I have interacted with my "blogging pals". :) A billion different things have happened in a billion different ways. I have found myself at this computer a lot throughout, but just never quite made it to the "New Post" button. :) I guess it may be for the lack of some new file of photos, a dramatic and intriguing story, or anything else that people usually find to post about. But whatever it is, I haven't fixed it. So, in answer to this problem, I am going to challenge myself. Now, I make no promises to you. This challenge may not be as interesting as that of a duel between two strong knights, or as thought-out as a game of checkers played by a few ole' pros. But... I will do my best to make you smile. I think maybe my family and I are capable of that... :)

It is simply this: Every Friday or Saturday (hopefully), I will post a real, true, honest-to-goodness photo of whatever I may find interesting to capture on camera that week. That means it will be a raw, random, or un-edited picture.... and in every way possible maybe even one I don't like. But you see, THAT is the challenge. :)

So... to start out this terribly scary, absolutely exciting, and maybe even sometimes embarrassing challenge, here are a few starters: :)

Isaac's babies...

I have a brother. Well, actually a few of them, but the one of whom I am speaking has a very unique hobby, and one that I enjoy talking of. You see, Isaac has always been the laughing, fun- natured charming boy of the family. He loves animals, and always has. First, his favorite creature was the horse; and he collected many different types (all toys of course) of which he treasured. He would always talk of how one day he would love to have a few of his own. He dreamed of owning a farm full of them.

Then, one day a few years ago, he announced his new favorite animal; the bird. Don't ask me what changed his mind, for I have no idea. Perhaps it was influenced by one of his favorite movies, "Narnia"or "Eragon", or maybe it was from the love of the chickens we owned when we lived on the mountain, but I don't know for sure. Anywho, after dreaming and wishing for a few weeks, he was delighted when mother-dear and daddy-o told him that he was to receive two Parrotlets as an early Christmas gift. What? That was quite a surprise! After all, we already have several animals in the family. And mama was going to let him get more? What a woman... :)

He went later that week to a little pet shop near us to pick up his "gifts". But unfortunately, though they were very lovely birds, their attitudes did not match. We thought that maybe it wouldn't work out, but knowing Isaac, our "Chicken Whisperer", we trusted that he would tame their tempers and teach them to love him. And he did. Simon & Saphira adore him. And now, so do their children! :) Yep, they hatched out five darling little babies; four girls and one boy... :)

(this is the male. You can tell males from females because the males have blue under their wings)

(and all of these are his girls. Don't ask me how he tells them apart. They all look the same to me.) :D

Recently, for his birthday, he received three more males. And one of them is yellow! Now, I'm not sure of all the different colors they come in, but I do know that they aren't all green! :) Here are some pictures of the new males:

Notice the names? :) They were put there so that he could keep better track of them. Even HE gets a little confused when looking at the pictures! :)

So, there's the little story of Isaac and his birds. Oh, and just a little bit of a warning: if your ever here at the Morsel house, do NOT enter his room without permission. He's a bit on the careful side when it comes to his babies....

So, I've been gone for quite a long while. BUT, my time has been pretty well spent, ya know, with school and such. :)

Well, my darling friend Rebekah hosted this tag on her blog, and though I had posted my answers as a comment there, I decided to post them here as well. Enjoy!

~Ten Interesting Facts About Me~

1. I am the oldest child of ten - a fact I absolutely LOVE to talk about!

2. The longest my family and I have ever lived in a house is about three years. We have moved around a lot; the Lord has blessed us with a lot of moving experiences :) - but I hope to be staying put for quite a long while!

3. I cannot stand seafood! Which is quite sad, because the rest of my family are big fans of it; shrimp, crab legs, etc.

4. When I was six, I took Jazz lessons; but I stopped after about 5 months.

5. A scary thought; when my youngest brother is fifteen, I will be thirty! :(

6. My bestest ever daddy in the whole world is a fourth degree black belt in Hapkido. When we live in Atlanta, (I was just a little baby) he would learn from the very tough Master Park. I mean tough. Daddy would get beat up almost every day; but he loved every moment of it! :) He stopped when the Lord moved us to Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, but he now teaches several of my siblings and I. And the funny stories he tells us of when he would work with Master Park.... let me just tell you that we love to laugh! :) I was blessed with a WONDERFUL daddy! :)

7. I love to design things. In my mind, I have put together a charming little cottage (or as I title it, "My little Yellow House in the Woods") and every inch of it is complete. My inspiration for this cute litle place came from a tiny yellow house my family and I drive past every Sunday on our way to meet with our church family. :) Yes, my brothers like to tease me about my wandering imagination, but I enjoy coming up with plans and ideas for this darling little house. :)

8. I believe that I have the cutest little brothers anyone could ever ask for! :) (I have six brothers, four of them under the age of eight)

9. My family owns our own personal petting zoo; right here in our home! :) To be exact, we have.... "drum roll if you please" .... Four adorable dogs, seven cuddly kitties, six amazing geckos, two (almost) talking parrot-lets, two "can't-believe-they-are-still-alive" goldfish, and one teeny-tiny cute little turtle. :)

10. I am a part of a dear group of friends who, because they are so close, have decided to call themselves the March sisters. Yes, the same four "Meg, Jo, Beth & Amy" in the book "Little Women". My dear sister Rebekah, whose site I got this idea from, is otherwise known as "Meg", Miss Haleigh Poe who has also taken part in this tag is lovingly called "dear Amy". Our fourth sister, "Beth", has not yet commented on this post, but I do not want to leave her out; our sweet-tempered, loving sister! :) And me, as you all have probably guessed, am the cheerful Jo! :)

Meet Mr. Bennet...

...a dear little boy who was recently introduced to the Morse family. This kitty is sweet tempered, very adorable, and quite attached to his rescuer/new mama... :) Although he fits his name perfectly, it is a bit too grown-up for him, so for now he goes by the title "Mr. B" . His story is similar to that of his new brothers and sisters, my other "kitt-os", who all have a touching tale of their own, but it is unique none the less. My parents, being the wonderful people they are, :)have allowed my siblings and I the chance to demonstrate our love of creatures by taking care of animals of all shapes and sizes AND numbers... (four dogs, seven kitties, six geckos, two parrot-lets, a turtle and two fish). So for them, the story of my Mr. B is just another page from the Book of Morsel Adventures which we can all look back on in later years...

...My mother-dear, siblings, and I were heading home from being out and about together, making a few little errands here and there. My father was on his way home from work, and we had timed it just right so that we would all be home in time to meet our grandpa who was passing through and wanted to make a quick stop to see us.

We stopped at the bank real quick, for one reason, suckers! :) lol

And as we were pulling out, I saw a tiny orange blur race across the four lanes of road in front of us. Of course I yelled "Mom! Did you see that? I think I just saw a kitten run across the road." And I had. It quickly hid in some bushes as our big ole' van crawled up along side it, and for some strange reason, Isaac jumped out and told us he would get it for us. ;) Actually though, instead of grabbing it when he should have, he scared it so that the tiny little thing raced across the large parking lot of Bi-lo which just so happened to be next door to the bank.

Mother looked at her watch as someone yelled "It's under some body's car!". Being the great woman she is, she drove over and allowed the four older ones (Spencer, Geneva, Isaac and myself) to hop out and attempt to catch this little creature. Not exactly knowing what we would do with it once we had it.. :) we made a game plan of how we could lure it out from underneath this car. We tried everything, and nothing worked. Finally, Spencer got down on his stomach (yes, right there in the middle of the Bi-lo parking lot) and reached under to grab it. Oops! Wrong move... that scared little kitty skedaddled right up into the engine of the car. We walked back to the van, to find everyone out of their seats and crowding around the door watching every little thing we were doing. Mama told us that she had called dad, and that he would stop by and try to help us. When he got there, he hopped right out, and looked at me like "Hannah, what have you gotten us into now?" as he slowly crouched down next to the car. He tried to lure it out with some "cat" noises... but it only crawled further up into the car. Daddy-o called the man who owned the car to tell him what had happened, and to make sure that it was okay that we were crawling around his car, and the guy just laughed and said that it was alright.

Meanwhile, our grandfather had been waiting on our front porch. :) Daddy told us that we needed to go home, but promised to come back and check on the cat once our visit with grandpa was over. So, about an hour later, Spencer, daddy-o, the twins, and myself drove back down to Bi-lo to try our skills at catnapping again. :) After about 15 minutes, I asked daddy to call the car owner, and since he loves me so much... (lol) he did. The guy said that he would quickly stop by and open the hood of the car for us, Yay! :) Once he got there, it took about a total of maybe two minutes to pop the hood open and snatch the panting kitten before it escaped back underneath the car. Wow.. that was easy. :)

Now, after many hours of nursing his poor skinny little body back to it normal fat self, he has addapted quite nicely into our full home and family. And, don't tell anyone I said this but....

...(I think daddy likes him!)

On Thursday the 27th, someone in our family celebrated his SIXTH birthday! He was "super" excited, can you guess who I'm talking about? :) Yes, Benjamin is now six! Ohhhh! How time flies.... remember THIS post? Wow....

Some sweet friends of ours invited our family to a birthday party they were having for their little girl Angela. They had a small petting zoo there and everything. We had a blast! (can you tell?)

A REAL apology...

...So, I haven't kept up to my promises and, yet again, have fallen terribly behind in caring for my dear little garden here in the "blogasphere". (yes, I'm probably wrong in the spelling of that word... and yes, I am not sure if it even IS a word, but I'll use it anyway.) I have been consumed with many things around my full home, such as watching some movies our dear friends the Poes are letting us borrow, couponing with Mother-dearest, watching the movies our friends lent us, babysitting siblings, watching those movies, making photos books for our business, watching those movies, etc. (by the way Haleigh, tell your mom she was SO right about them! )

And through all of that, I have horribly neglected taking pictures for myself and you few readers who seem to stick with me and my long-extended periods of not-posting. I will make sure NOT to promise any posts in the near future, for I can already see myself sitting on the couch thinking to myself, "Boy, I should probably get up and post some pics today. But you know, maybe I'll wait a little while, I really want to do such-and-such. I'll post later.." and somehow forgetting that I was going to POST later. Just trust that I will.... uuuhhhh-I mean TRY to post as much as I can. :)

Oops, gotta go. But don't worry...

A busy week...

This week, or past week, I should say, has been one of busy days, and many moments that I didn't have my camera with me. :) Geneva's friend Erin Snyder came for a visit, and we all really enjoyed having her here!! (I will post pictures of her visit soon.)

Also, on Saturday the 27th, our family celebrated nine years of pure delight with the twins, Emily Marie and Katherine Margaret Morse. Their birthday was one of total success, including a special date with mom and daddy, a family picnic at Chester Frost Park, and a whole lot of wonderful time together. :) They truly are a unique pair, the two of them...

I made these little doll prairie dresses for them. I thought I would share these pictures with you... :)

So, I guess I should go check on the little ones. That reminds me, where are they?... Oh yeah, they are outside making a fort with scrap wood and other stuff... how creative! :D
