My Morsels

My Family:
The Cast & Crew

Mr. Morse…

…who is also known as the “Ruthless Game Player” (RGP), greatly enjoys reading old and new books alike, teasing around with his band of jolly children, playing with his huge, very manly metal-bending toys, and loving his beautiful wife. If searching for him on a Sunday afternoon, the most likely place to find him would be lying on the sofa in the den downstairs, attempting to nap, read, and watch a football game all at the same time (something that he flatters himself that he can do very well…). One of his favorite nicknames is the “Hero Weirdo”, and if you would like to know where this humorous name came from, you will probably get the most satisfying answer from…

Mrs. Morse…

… who is the greatest mother in the world (or so her happy group of ten children think!), and she absolutely loves old, Victorian houses, listening to classical music, teaching her children, and most importantly, talking to and laughing along with, her witty and wonderful husband. When searching for her on rainy days, unless she is busy elsewhere, she can probably be found curled up in a warm, fuzzy blanket watching her favorite movie, “Sense & Sensibility". She always must have some type of chocolate dessert in the house, whether it be chocolate chip cookies, or a Hershey’s chocolate bar; and she lovingly shares this chocolate craving with all of her children:

Hannah Elizabeth…

… the dark -haired, dark-eyed, seventeen year old of the bunch. This young lady has traits that are from both of her parents; such as her creative sense of humor from her father, and her love of old-fashioned, vintage things from her mother. She loves to read stories such as the "Love Comes Softly" series, enjoys watching old musicals, finds delight in taking photos, and absolutely adores her six sweet kitties.  She has a mind for design, loves simplicity and creativity, cherishes the moments spent with her family, and is extremely sentimental. When the sun is out and the weather warm, you might possibly find her hidden in a quiet nook somewhere out of doors; singing songs to herself, and writing secretively in her sage green journal... dreaming of her little yellow house in the woods.

Spencer Christian…

… the oldest son & brother of the family. This young man is the one who is the closest resemblance of his father in almost everything. He loves to read, and always has his nose stuck in some interesting book. At night he shares his room with his beagle, Little Ann, and has always been most protective of her. He has followed in his father’s footsteps keeping - breeding geckos and snakes, much to the dismay of his mother and older sister.  He loves to tackle around with his rambunctious brothers, finds much pleasure in outdoor activities, and dreams of someday taking over the family business; making things with metal. But if you carefully look through all of this manliness and boyish roughness, you will very well find a tender spot in his heart for the ones he loves and cherishes.

Geneva Adele…

… the bright-eyed, perky young girl who has always wanted to live in a huge log house. She loves to read as well, a trait you will find in everyone who is a part of the Morsel Clan. She has always tagged around with her father and brothers, and loves to explore woods and forests. When searching for her on a sunny day, you will either find her playing a game of house with her younger sisters, drawing, or even playing football with the boys. She has a unique way of making you smile... and adores it when her daddy laughs at her jokes. She has always been the little “tom-boy” of the family, but no matter what, still enjoys wearing skirts and cooking a batch of brownies.

Isaac Alan…

… the little laughing red-head of the family. Even though he is, he absolutely hates to be called “cute”. He has always loved birds, and owns several “Pocket Parrots” that live in his bedroom. Simon and Saphira are their names; those two birds who love no one but him. He’s small, but don’t underestimate this young man. He flatters himself that he can tackle his big brother and beat him any day. Playing outside is one of his favorite pastimes, whether that be playing with his gentle tempered, blue-eyed dog, hiking with his brothers, or swimming in the lake. He's sweet and gentle, silly and ridiculous, but most of all... our dear "Wee Sir Gibbie".

Emily Marie & Katherine Margaret…

… our darling twin pearls. These sweet little girls simply adore their daddy. They claim that when they grow up, they are never going to get married and leave, but instead, they are going to stay home with mama and daddy forever. Ever since they were born, they have been a joy to all. Their cute giggles, and sunny smiles light every room they are in.  They love to tease people about who is who, and think it is so funny when people get confused. The Little House on the Prairie series is their all-time favorite, and they love to play dress-up. Babies give them such pleasure, and when they are holding one you can see their motherly ways come out. One day, they say, they will own two quaint shops, each next to the other; Emily with the Cake Shop & Katie with the Pizza Parlor.

Corban Alexander…

… the magical mechanic of the family.  His mind never ceases to amaze us. His numerous notebooks cover the desk downstairs, and his army books and Lego magazines lay in a basket there next to them.  He loves race cars, guns, and battleships, and dreams of learning how to drive an army truck. He takes the leading position when it comes to the "little boys", and loves being with his brothers. On any day at any time, you could probably find him sitting at the long, kitchen table, with a very thoughtful look on his face, crayons in his hands, drawing and coloring anything imaginable.

Benjamin Owen…

… the one who never stops.. Anything. He has more energy than all of his brothers put together, and is always on the go. When he isn’t playing outside in the dirt and mud, you may chance to find him quietly watching the "Pink Panther" cartoons, but that only happens occasionally. He has a sweet side that makes your heart melt, and a darling smile that makes you want to give him a big fat kiss. Standing up for and defending his mama is his number one concern, and he absolutely loves doing it. He's always wanting to go to the workshop with his daddy, and is continually seen trying to act just like his beloved brother, Corban.

Stephen Jacob…

… otherwise known as “Jake”. He is very proud of his name; going around saying "My name is ssssStephin Thzacob. But everyone calls me 'Thzake."  This young charmer has always been just too sweet (maybe a little more than is good for him…).  He absolutely loves his brothers, and especially enjoys playing “Crocodile Hunter” with Corban & Benjamin, and his younger brother Creed adores him. Recently, he was involved in an accident in the bathtub that ended with him getting his top four teeth removed, so his smile looks somewhat like that of a vampire and his voice has an added lisp...but we all still love him.

Creed O'Brien...

...the blessed little bundle we recieved just over a year ago. His cheeks are plump, his eyes beautiful, his legs stout, and his hair red. We believe he may be a bit on the... ahem... spoiled side, but only because he has nine older siblings who absolutely adore him. :) He recently found what a wonder walking can be, and as a result, has the whole household watching his every move. He loves Piper, his little stuffed bear, and whenever he is upset or tired and without him, can be heard yelling his name. He discovered kitties aren't at all as nice as they should be when their tails are pulled, but loves them anyway. Dogs are amazing, but the vacuum a monster. His "dadda" is much loved, and a phone call from him puts Creed in a tizzy of joy all the time.
