So... I've been told I need to pick up the pace a little. Yes, I saw your sweet little message, Neva. I realize I'm not talented like you, so I hesitate to post anything. Truly, I believe the problem is coming up with a subject to post about. How sad is that? I live in a large, exciting family, and I struggle finding something worth-while to tell about. :)

After a little chat with a friend this week, I've resolved to fix this problem. I am going to push myself. I'm giving myself a challenge. (again.) No, I will not use my sister's photos and give myself credit just to fill the space. No, I will not give my reviews on movies. I will answer one question, once a day. Sounds pretty eaasy, huh? Here it is, plain and simple.

What keeps me from blogging this week? Wellllll... either it's the leftover Valentine's day candy, the winter Olympics, school, babysitting my little brothers, freezing even though I'm wearing three thick shirts, or my most recent sewing activity. Take your pick. :)

Just understand that Miss Hannah Morse IS sorry, but has been rather busy and blogging has not found it's way into her every-day schedule as of yet. So... that said.... pictures will be posted soon.

My First Candle!!

For Christmas last year, I recieved candle making supplies, as well as a book that taught me how. I was so excited, because this was exactly what I had been wanting for quite a while. I haven't been able to use any of it until now though, and so when I did, I decided to take a few pictures of the what I did.
First, I melted the wax in a double boiler, and as we don't have one, my creative dad came up with one for me! (don't worry, mom was fully aware that I was using her pots, and rest assured that they are now scrubbed clean and ready for use in the cooking area once more!)

I then poured the wax into this mold, ^ having already prepared the wick, etc.

O.K., so this picture is out of order. This is my big chunk of wax, and the tools I use to cut it apart. Looks fun, don't it?!

These are some of the other items I used, including the scent, wick, and mold sealer. (I didn't use any scent or color for this one though, cause I wanted to try it out first.)

I waited for it to harden, and everything in between, and.....

...Here it is!!!

What are some neat crafts that you enjoy doing?

Help!

So, I came up with this^ really awesome header (don't ya think?) :) and it doesn't fit right. I mean, it blows up to big, and I can't figure out how to shrink it to fit.

Does anyone have any information that might help?

If so, I would reall appreciate it!

We're Back!!

Hello everyone!!

Wow! I've really missed blogging for thew past couple weeks. Our computer was zapped be lightning in a storm we had, and unfortunately we lost (maybe) all the pictures we had saved on it.... :( The sad thing is that there were about three years worth of pics on it!

Anywho, we got a new computer, and hopefully will post more soon.

Our new blog header!

I've recently been working on our computer, learning new things about editing pictures, adding text, fixing the color, etc. Well, I've learned how to make one of our pictures into a header for our blog, BUT, I can't find out how to get it up on the blog!! (very frustrating I'll tell you... :))

So my questions are,
Does anyone know how to make it into our header???
Have you done this before?
Is it very hard to do??

In other words....
....Any tips would be well appreciated!!

I know everyone is probably busy with school and us especially busy with packing and stuff but, just a quick question...
